The City of Casey is partnering with Swinburne University of Technology’s Sport Innovation Research Group to better understand how residents take part in informal sport — activities such as walking, fitness in parks, skateboarding, social basketball, or exercising in local spaces.

We invite you to complete a short online survey to share when, where, and why you like to be active and what might make it easier for you to participate.

What’s involved
• A 8–12 minute online survey about your physical-activity habits and preferences.
• Participation is voluntary and anonymous.
• You can enter a draw to win one of five (5) $100 vouchers as a thank you for your time.

Why participate?
✅ Help shape future facilities, programs and events that support active living in Casey.
✅ Ensure the voices of diverse residents are heard in local planning.
✅ Contribute to research that will benefit your community.

All responses are confidential and no individual will be identified in any reports. You may stop the survey at any time

Spring into Summer 2025 ☀️

The days are getting longer and the weather is getting warmer, which can only mean one thing… Spring into Summer is almost here!

Every November, we celebrate Spring into Summer by encouraging you and your families to get outside and get active. This year, we have lots of exciting activities on offer, including:

⚽ Walking Football @ Olive Road (starts tomorrow!)

Walking football (soccer) is a low impact, modified version of football where players are required to walk instead of run. The game maintains the essence of football and is suitable for all ages, including families.

💪 Outdoor Bootcamp @ Smiths Lane

Work through different stations and exercises in this outdoor bootcamp to improve your strength and fitness, all while having fun! Suitable for all fitness levels.

🪩 Silent Disco @ Wilson Botanic Park

It's time to release your inhibitions, break out your best dance moves at our silent disco at Wilson Botanic Park. Whether you join us for 30 minutes or the full four hours, with three music channels to choose from, there's something to get everyone moving.

🎵 Boogie Bounce @ Clyde Public Hall (bookings opening soon!)

Boogie Bounce is a high energy, low impact workout to get fit, have fun and bounce yourself healthy. Performed purely on a mini trampoline, featuring a t-bar handle for your stability, Boogie Bounce is a full body workout like no other.
