This client weighed 83 kg 3 days before this message.

She was having a stressful day and her body was holding fluid.

As the week went on we saw the numbers shifting and she hit a new number this day.

She has lost half a kilo in the first week of her fat loss phase and this week is looking great as well.

We need to focus on the trend going down by weekly averages and monthly declines.

Day to day fluctuations are very normal.

This girl is on her way to reaching her first goal soon.

She hasn’t cut out food groups.

She is eating a balance of macros and gets to choose what she wants to eat.

She is eating 1900 cals and losing weight because she built up her maintenance calories and now we have room to move without going into restriction mode like all the crappy diets out there.

She came from a very low carb base as she thought that was the healthy way to live.

Boy has she been educated for the better!

I just have to highlight one of my regular clients who has been with me for around 10 years.

She used to be a Pilates girl only and then she followed me to my current studio in 2020 and started weight training.

Taryn works out twice a week and loves her lifting. She was initially apprehensive about heavy weights but is now hooked.

I think my job here is done😍
Wow! My time as this client’s coach is coming to an end. We are now reversing her calories to find her new maintenance.
She has learnt so much and now she is confident and competent at living her life reflecting her desire to be lean for life.
Did you know that 95% of people who lose weight put it back on again?
This percentage is crazy but I can see how easily it happens.
The person stops living the lifestyle that got them the Weightloss and gradually the weight creeps on.
They have to embody the new habits, behaviours and thought patterns of their lean physique.
I know that this client has all the knowledge and actions she needs to keep her weight off ( a number she can’t remember being!)
She got back from a holiday in Japan after 2 weeks and had lost weight. She didn’t track her food. She used her new found intuition and listened to her body when it was satisfied, she stopped.
She ate what she wanted including the famous Japanese cheesecake she’s always wanted to try, sushi, sashimi and tempura.
It’s amazing to see the person being rewarded for their efforts.
This is food freedom and body awareness and confide personified and I couldn’t be happier for her.

Maybe it’s a different set of behaviours or thoughts keeping YOU stuck but in the end, the inner work, the reflection, the journalling and the coaching support is the solution.

Because weight loss is a-lot of the time-much more than calories in and calories out.

We get in our own way so much of the time!

This client discovered one of her fears that was keeping her stuck.

The lies we tell ourselves, the fear, the limiting beliefs, the unhelpful habits on repeat.

BUILDING A SEXY BACK!

It takes time and regular workouts to develop back muscles on a woman.

Most women are scared to workout because they don’t want to get bulky.

That makes me laugh because it takes soooo much effort to put on muscle.

Yifat has been training for over 2 years and trains x4 per week.

Her back muscles are developing because of her hard work in the gym- changing her body composition through her weight training and following my nutrition program to nourish her body to support her changing body.

This is Jacqui’s story. Jacqui is a coaching client , she didn’t train at my studio. She had her own gym set up at home. She rang to inquire about my weight loss coaching wanting to lose 10 kgs.

This is her experience-

I started the Nurture & Nourish program with Michelle because I wanted to learn how to manage my weight without resorting to crash dieting.

Working with her has been a truly transformative experience.

Michelle has helped me understand the difference between simply eating to meet a need and genuinely nourishing my body with a healthy, well-balanced diet.

Ginger, garlic, chilli chicken with bok choy and rice.
Serves 4

Grate 6 cm piece of ginger and 4 garlic cloves.
Sauté in 1-2 tbs coconut oil and add 1 tsp chilli flakes and 800g chicken thigh cut in 3 cm pieces.

Brown in batches until cooked and add 2 tbs honey and 1-2 tbs of soy sauce.

Take chicken out and add bok choy to the pan with 1 tbs soy sauce and 1 tsp sesame oil.

Cook rice and serve with chicken and vegetables.

We’ve had home gyms in every house we’ve lived in and music has been such a major part of those days.

My kids have grown up around mum and dad training and often would play or ride scooters or bikes outside while the music was blaring.

We all have great memories of some of the iconic artists we used to play ( mainly back in the pre Spotify days when you played the same CD to death)

One of those artists was Anastasia.

It was so cool to be at her concert with my girls reliving the memories and singing along to her songs that I can vividly remember working out to.

Our strength training programs run to school terms.

We push hard and focus on getting stronger as the weeks go by.

After each program we have 1-2 weeks of recovery.

Sometimes it’s lighter weights and body weight sessions, sometimes it’s pilates and other times it’s pure stretching.

This time it is stretching and mobility.🙆‍♂️

We are all feeling the effects of winter, the tightness and tension from the cold months.

We need a stretch!

After 2 days, the body feels lighter.🤩

It’s a reset for mind and body and next week we start term 3.

Deload week commences - higher reps and lighter weights and then it’s progressive overload for the rest of the term.

Our Story

Body Vision is a Boutique Health & Fitness studio in Bulleen, Melbourne. It is a one stop shop for all your training needs as well as nutrition, emotional and mental support for women especially over the age of 40.

Classes include Pilates, Barre Fusion, Toning, Circuit, Semi Private and Personal Training.

Michelle offers Wellness Coaching and Self Development programs as well as Nutritional programs all under the EAT TRAIN LIVE umbrella.

These Programs are designed to support the client to get the best outcome for their needs, their goals and their life, addressing limiting beliefs, obstacles and sabotaging behaviours in all areas that are holding them back in life.
