At Major Movement, this is something we see firsthand.

✨ March Member of the Month – Shalom ✨
This month we are celebrating the wonderful Shalom 💛

Over the past two years, Shalom has quietly and consistently shown up — recently reaching an incredible 130 classes with us. Through knee & shoulder pain and the challenges that can come with it, she continues to choose movement and honour her body every step of the way.

Shalom is always up for a challenge in class, embracing new exercises with determination and a smile. She brings a beautiful mix of quiet cheek and genuine care, always creating a warm energy for everyone around her.

She’s even convinced her husband to join us as a Gold member after giving him a firsthand look at the strength and stamina she’s built along the way 💪

Watching her progress, strength, and confidence build over the years has been such a pleasure for our entire instructor crew. Her consistency and commitment to her overall health is truly inspiring.

Alanna brings such a calm, grounding energy into every class. Her ability to really listen to her body — knowing when to challenge herself, when to progress and when it’s time for a little tune-up with treatments — is such a powerful example of what consistent movement and self-awareness can look like.

But beyond the movement, it’s Alanna’s warm heart and gentle presence that truly shines. She’s the kind of person who quietly lifts the whole room just by being in it.

Winter is on it’s way… but this is NOT the time to slow down.

As the weather cools, something interesting happens in our brains and bodies.
We statistically become less active, spend more time indoors, and routines start to shift. Movement gets pushed to the bottom of the priority list.

But here’s the truth 👇
Winter is when your training matters the most.

Staying consistent with your movement through the cooler months helps:
✔ Maintain strength and muscle
✔ Keep joints mobile and pain free
✔ Support immune function
✔ Improve circulation and energy levels
✔ Protect against the winter slump

When we stop moving, the body stiffens, weakens, and stores tension.

From teaching Pilates, treating patients in the clinic, squeezing in her own training, hitting a run, and managing the never-ending behind-the-scenes tasks… it’s all part of the flow.

Because helping others move better starts with living it yourself.

Rosie has officially hit 200 Reformer Pilates classes and what a journey it’s been to watch.

If there’s an advanced option, Rosie is already there.
If there’s an extra spring, she’ll take it.
If there’s a prop to level things up, she’s all in.

Her training style is simple:
✨ Show up
✨ Challenge herself
✨ Keep progressing

Rosie consistently shows up for her mind and body, bringing her cool Saturday vibes, strength and determination to class each week… and we feel extra lucky on the weeks she manages to squeeze in an additional class during her busy working week.
