Welcome to Midtown Medical Clinic

Since opening in 1988 our commitment to provide the best possible care for our patients has distinguished Midtown Medical Clinic amongst the health care profession. Our team of doctors aim to provide quality health care to all of our patients. Our clinic can provide you and your family with a total package of health care services staffed by an experienced and compassionate team. All Doctors at Midtown Medical Clinic have a post-graduate fellowship in General Practice (F.R.A.C.G.P.). Several of our Doctors have been involved in examining candidates for this fellowship. Our Practice undergoes three-yearly voluntary extensive detailed AGPAL accreditation to ensure we maintain our level of excellence. We have ongoing in-house education programs and ensure our Doctors to keep up to date using external courses and conferences. The Doctors at Midtown Medical Clinic are supported by a number of onsite services and staff including practice nurses, allied health professionals, medical specialists, pathology and comprehensive radiology. We provide prompt, thorough and personalised health care in one convenient location. Located in the heart of the Central Business District at Level 4, 250 Collins Street, Melbourne 3000, we are open between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm Monday to Friday.

We were lucky enough to welcome Mr Karim Kantar, Spine Surgeon at Epworth Healthcare, to present to health professionals at Healthcare on Collins today.
The presentation was very interactive and inspiring. We are looking into organising the next one!

Physio Riley is consulting every Saturday at Healthcare on Collins. No excuse to not go and see your physio to have this ni**le injury checked out!
You can also see Riley for a rehabilitation class and clinical pilates on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

We are turning 37 this year!
Exactly 37 years ago, Doctor Philip Perlstein saw his first patients at Midtown Medical Clinic. Today we are called Healthcare on Collins, only to simplify patients' experience. Patients were seeing their Practitioners from either Midtown Medical Clinic, the Melbourne Sports Medicine Centre or Medical Specialists on Collins. All 3 having the same team of Directors and being located under the same roof.
Doctor Philip Perlstein and Doctor Harry Unglik retired from their Directors roles this year.
Yesterday, sadly, was the second anniversary of Gordon McDonald's passing. Gordon, who joined as a Director of the Melbourne Sports Medicine Centre and who brighten any room he entered!
3 big personalities and talents are missed everyday but have also left a legacy of offering the best care to patients and working in a safe and enjoyable environment.
