We’re excited to announce that our new Releaf Clinic and Dispensary in Byron Bay is officially open at 91 Jonson Street. This site brings our fully integrated model of care to the Northern Rivers community, offering consultations and on‑site dispensing in one convenient location.

Designed to provide a smooth, supportive patient experience, the clinic offers face‑to‑face and telehealth appointments with experienced clinicians, along with personalised guidance from our dispensary team.

We’re proud to expand our services into New South Wales and look forward to supporting the wellbeing of the Byron Bay community.

Meet our receptionist at Releaf Caloundra - Lilli!

Lilli, born and raised on the Sunshine Coast and part of the Releaf team since April 2025. Outside of work, she enjoys shopping, days at the beach, and binge‑watching her favourite TV series. She loves anything with pasta or potatoes, and spending time out and about with friends.

What Are Terpenes?

Let’s Break It Down.

If you’ve ever enjoyed the scent of a pine forest, peeled a citrus fruit, or relaxed with lavender, you’ve already experienced terpenes, the natural aromatic compounds found in many plants.

So… what exactly are they?

Terpenes are the molecules that give plants their unique aromas and flavours.
From earthy and herbal to bright and citrusy, terpenes are responsible for the characteristic scents we associate with different botanicals.

They’re found everywhere in nature. Flowers, herbs, fruits, and even some trees produce terpenes as part of their natural makeup.

Each plant has its own terpene profile. This is why two plants can look similar but smell completely different. Different strains will often have their own distinctive terpene blends that influence how they smell and taste.
