Aromantic Spectrum Awareness Week - 21–27 February

This week we recognise and celebrate aromantic identities and experiences.

Being aromantic means experiencing little or no romantic attraction, and like all identities, it exists on a spectrum. Raising awareness helps create understanding, respect, and spaces where everyone feels seen and valued.

At Relationship Matters, we support diversity in how people experience connection, relationships, and identity.

If you or someone you care about needs support, we are here to help.

International Mother Language Day

Today we celebrate the richness of language and culture around the world.

Language is more than words — it’s how we connect, share stories, express identity, and feel understood. When people are able to communicate in ways that feel natural and safe, inclusion and belonging grow.

At Relationship Matters, we value diversity and the many voices that make our communities stronger.

If you or someone you care about needs support, we are here to help.

National Apology Anniversary

Today we pause to reflect on Australia’s apology to the Stolen Generations, and the ongoing journey of healing, understanding, and reconciliation.

At Relationship Matters, we recognise the lasting impact of past injustices and the importance of listening, learning, and walking together with respect. Healing happens in safe, supportive spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued.

If today brings up emotions or you or someone you care about needs support, we are here to help.

16 Days of Activism

Day 16 | Respect Is Knowing That House and Carework Is Everyone’s Job

Respect begins at home.

When housework and carework are shared fairly, it builds stronger relationships, healthier families and more equal communities. These everyday actions shape how children learn about respect, partnership and responsibility.

Creating respectful relationships starts long before big conversations — it’s modelled in the way we show up for each other, contribute equally and value each person’s time and wellbeing.

Relationship Matters supports families, couples and individuals to build healthy patterns of communication, connection and respect. Because a fair home creates a stronger community.

Day 15 | Changemakers Lead by Example
Leaders who champion respect and equality create ripple effects of change.

Did you know there has been a 56% increase in serious workers’ compensation claims for assault and exposure to workplace violence and aggression over the past five years in Australia?
This shows why strong, respectful leadership and a proactive workplace culture are vital to preventing harm and supporting safer teams.

Our consulting and training services help organisations embed safety, inclusion and respect into their workplace culture, because leadership makes the difference.
