Cultural Diversity Week is a reminder that every relationship is shaped by culture, identity and lived experience.

At Relationship Matters, we support individuals, couples and families from many different cultural backgrounds. We understand that culture influences how we communicate, resolve conflict, parent, seek help and build connection.

Our role is to provide safe, respectful spaces where people feel seen, heard and understood without judgement.

Good supervision is at the heart of strong, healthy teams.

Many supervisors step into leadership roles without ever being shown how to provide effective supervision. Knowing how to have meaningful conversations, build trust with staff and support teams while maintaining accountability can make a real difference in workplace culture.

Through Workplace Matters, Relationship Matters supports leaders to develop the confidence and practical skills needed to guide and support their teams.

If you supervise staff and want to strengthen your leadership practice, this upcoming training may be helpful.

Learn more in the post below.

Behind every strong team is a supervisor who knows how to support, guide and listen.

Sometimes anger isn’t loud.
Sometimes it sits just under the surface.
In the tension at home.

In conversations that don’t go the way you hoped.
In that feeling afterwards where you wish things had gone differently.
Many women carry these feelings quietly and aren’t sure where to start.

Our Anger Management for Women program offers a supportive small online group where women can begin to understand their emotions and learn healthier ways to respond when things feel overwhelming.

Women who attend often say they leave with a deeper understanding of themselves, practical ways to manage strong emotions, and the reassurance that they are not alone.

Who can attend:
Women living or working in the South East Melbourne area who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health challenges and would like support understanding and managing anger.

Today we celebrate the strength, courage and achievements of women across our communities, including the incredible women who make up Relationship Matters. Leaders, counsellors, mediators, clinicians, practitioners and colleagues who bring compassion, professionalism and dedication to their work every day.

This year’s International Women’s Day theme, Give To Gain, reminds us that when we give support, opportunity and respect, we all gain a more equal future.

When women are aligned in purpose, values and passion for the work they do, it shows up in many ways.

Apparently sometimes even in their fashion choices.

At Relationship Matters, we are committed to supporting women through counselling, family services and workplace wellbeing programs that promote safety, dignity and connection.

If you or someone you care about needs support, we are here.
