As October’s Mental Health Month wraps up, it’s a reminder to keep making space for your mental health—today and every day. Whether it’s music, movement, mates or mindfulness, doing what you love is good for your wellbeing.

That’s why we encourage students to take regular study breaks to help them feel more balanced and focused. Or players to check in with teammates to help them feel more connected and supported.

There’s no one-size-fits-all just plenty of great ways to make space.

🌈 Wear It Purple Day is all about celebrating and supporting LGBTQIA+ young people! One powerful way to do that is through inclusive language.

Let’s talk pronouns
💜 What are they?
💜 Why might someone use different ones or ask to be called something else?
💜 What should you do if you make a mistake and how you can show allyship!

It’s okay not to know everything. What matters is being open, respectful, and willing to learn. Using someone’s correct pronouns is a simple way to show you care 💜🏳️‍🌈

📚 Info from the amazing Wear It Purple guide: “Misgendering + Pronouns: A guide to using inclusive language when speaking languages other than English”
