Here at the Melbourne Midwifery Collective, we were curious to see whether our statistics match up with that of an Australian study, showing that >11% of midwives chose homebirth, compared to 0.4% of the general population.

So we conducted an internal survey! We looked into the birth statistics of all 19 of our private midwives, and these are the results here.
