Recall actions are being taken because of a link between Pholcodine-containing medicines and an increased risk of anaphylactic reactions to certain medicines used as muscle relaxants during general anaesthesia.

To ensure your safety, we ask that you please return any Pholcodine-containing products to our Pharmacy as soon as possible. Please bring the bottle back to our Pharmacy so we can safely dispose of it.

If you have used a Pholcodine containing product and have had surgery or have upcoming surgery we strongly recommend speaking to your GP.

If you have any questions or concerns about this recall, please do not hesitate to come in and speak to one of our pharmacists.
