There's no health without mental health, and this we are looking at the benefits of exercise. Exercise reduces anxiety, depression, negative mood and social isolation and improves self‐esteem, cognitive functions and quality of life.

Ouch, has this Stage 4 lock down been a real pain in the neck or what! But there is hope on the horizon with expert advice and education, evidence based approach, multi-modal treatment, having a comfortable neck back again is not so much a distant dream. Yeah 😀

Stage 4 restrictions are now in place. We are still open and providing essential services to the community. The COVID plan that is in place since March is still being done and now TeleHealth appointments are ever more important. So that will be offered routinely on all occasions in line with community expectations. However, Face 2 Face is still available with some proviso of preventing escalation of care and health decline. Finally, stay safe and keep well and if we are able to help in anyway just gives us a call on 9859 4683 or book online.

Dear valued clients,
We've been busy working hard for the last two weeks towards making Telehealth appointments available for those who would benefit from physiotherapy without coming into the office. So now, the Health Department have issued an updated COVID-19 Bulk Billed MBS Telehealth Services for Allied Health Providers. So do speak to you GP about this as you might be qualified for this. Or alternatively, you can book a telehealth (videoconferencing) appointment online at http://georgetsaiphysiotherapy.com.au/ or ring us if you prefer.

Our traditional in-room consultation is still available and can be arranged as a backup for those who needs it.

To our valued clients,

As we continue to closely monitor the outbreak of COVID-19 and advice provided by the Australian Government and World Health Organisation, we would like to reassure our valued clients that here at the office we are taking all necessary precautions in order to protect our clients and the greater community.

Here at George Tsai Physiotherapy Clinic is committed to remain operational to provide the highest care and service possible. We are thankful that we are able to continue to provide you the high-quality client care and service we are renowned for, and in order to keep you safe, we would like to make you aware of the following precautions:

* We are now a handshake – free zone;
* We follow proper hand washing procedures and this is done as routine;
* Therapist wearing gloves and face mask at all times when assessing and treating;
* All surfaces including door handles, chairs, front desk, and therapy equipment will be wiped down with disinfectant before and after each day;
* Hand sanitiser is readily available in the office;
* Pay via Eftpos and Credit Card where possible to limit the number of cash payments;
* Wipe down HICAPS/Eftpos machine sanitised after every use;
* Working within Government/RegistrationBoard/Association regulations and closely monitoring social distancing measures and advice;
* Working towards and making TeleHealth appointments available for those who benefit from physio without coming into the office. So watchout for this space as there will be further notification when this becomes an available option;

We understand this is a very difficult time for many of us. As always, your health and safety is our top priority, and we take pride in welcoming you into a safe and clean environment.
