A few weeks ago Sarah and Amy had the pleasure of presenting at the ACHPER Conference ⚽️🏀 an annual state conference attended by over 600 Health and Physical Education professionals ✨

It was a wonderful opportunity for school staff to reflect on inclusive education, access and school culture, and add to their toolkit of ideas and resources to ensure participation and inclusion for all students! 🥎

📚 Book of the Month: We’re All Wonders ✨

This heart-warming story follows Auggie, a boy with a physical difference who reminds us that, on the inside, he’s just like every other kid 🤸‍♀️

Through his eyes 👀 we see how unkindness can make someone feel small, and how kindness and imagination can help us see the wonder in everyone 🌈

📚Our Speech Pathologist’s book of the month - My Body’s Power Pack 💥by Sandhya Menon, uses elements of neuroscience to help children understand why their energy ebbs and flows, and why this may cause dysregulation 🌈

It provides gentle neuro-affirmative coping strategies, including the basics of energy accounting (which is like the popular ‘spoons theory’ for adults) 🧠

The story is told through a rhyming story based on the child-friendly concept of battery packs and with warm, engaging illustrations 🔋🪫🌈

🎉KidsPT Team Day 2025🎉

Always a great day for our team to connect, reflect, plan and have fun!!!

This year’s theme was Gratitude, Empathy and Mindfulness- qualities our team has by the bucketload and a great reminder of checking in on others and meeting them where they are, looking after ourselves and our wellbeing, and paying attention to the things we have, seeing the positives!

Gratitude- to for being an amazing AT partner, providing amazing equipment solutions for children we support, and for supporting KidsPT by sponsoring our amazing day.
