Always great to be back at Jells Park Primary School.

Across several sessions, our team - Cassie, Marnie and Hayley - worked with the staff team refreshing their CPR and First Aid skills.

Lots of hands-on practice with CPR, and staff demonstrating how they would respond to different emergency first aid situations that could happen at school.

We’ve been delivering training with the team each year, and it’s always great to return and support schools that prioritise the safety and wellbeing of their students and staff.

Did you know that women are less likely to receive bystander CPR and defibrillation than men?

On International Women’s Day, it’s important to talk about why.

Research shows hesitation comes from fear. Many people worry about touching a woman’s chest inappropriately, exposing the chest, or doing the wrong thing.

But in a cardiac arrest, every second counts - and everyone deserves the chance at survival.

This is an important topic we cover in every CPR class at Remedy - addressing hesitation and teaching how to do CPR and use AED on females.
The principles are the same, regardless of gender.

We’re an all female training team helping workplaces and individuals build confidence to step forward in an emergency. Proud to do what we do each and every day 💚

Had you heard about the gender gap in bystander CPR before?

Back on site delivering first aid training for long-standing client Frank Dando Sports Academy 👏

As the school year kicks off, keeping staff trained and prepared matters.

We love returning year after year — training staff, meeting new faces, and seeing the school continue to grow as it supports more young people.

Also joined by one very calm, relaxed and well-behaved four-legged observer today 🐶
Thanks for continuing to trust us with your first aid training.

Looking forward to seeing the new premises next time!
