TOP TIP FOR CHRISTMAS #27 - With December being a particularly busy time in some ways, manage your emotional energy levels by looking at upsetting situations through new lenses. Adopt a “reverse lens” to ask, “What would the other person in this conflict say, and how might he be right?” Use a “long lens” to ask, “How will I likely view this situation in six months?” Employ a “wide lens” to ask, “How can I grow and learn from this situation?”

SURVIVAL SECRETS FOR THE XMAS PARTY SEASON
#47 - When you are out at social events, drink a glass of milk at the start of the night. The alcohol still enters your system but the milk lines your stomach so the alcohol is absorbed in your intestines and does not go straight to your head. This might stop you drinking more than you plan. Also drink a glass of water in between each glass of wine to help with hangovers!

Christmas can be a hectic and stressful time of the year so remember to keep up a regular relaxing or repetitive task/ritual to improve concentration skills and break distracted thoughts (or bad hangovers!) e.g. listening to classical or relaxing music, warm bath or sauna, gardening, any relaxing repetitive activity.

What have you done today to implement some fun into your life? Waiting for it to turn up is like waiting for an unscheduled bus.
Why not put a hot note in your partner's cold lunch?
Could you play a practical joke on a friend?
Can you organise a m***i day at work?
What about a birthday cake for someone on another day?
Or a trip to the local Comedy Club? (When I was recovering from cancer I watched every Billy n video that existed)
Perhaps a frivolous or funny movie?
Do you have to wear matching socks?
What about buying a joke book and telling your favourite?
Maybe surprise your partner with a weekend away? (even at your place)
If you need to make a list of the possibilities - go right ahead. It's not going to happen by accident.

Pole dancing has moved out of the strip clubs and has become a sport and fitness regime for men.
