Victim VS Victim mentality.
This post is inspired by a behaviour I see online regularly, but since the release if the Epstein files and multiple victims of trafficing and abuse coming out, the invalidation and victim blaming is something we see more often.
Statistics, you know..
On the other hand, the woke movement is taking over the Western world and recruits soldiers consciously as well as unconsciously. We all know those people that are repeating the same story 5-10 years after with no action taken.
The more common situation I come accross at the clinic is the result of suppressing true victimhood due to the fear and shame of sharing it. Desperately seeking releif in ideas such as forgiveness and hyper-individualism.
There is a natural order to healing. We can't hack it, no matter how much we try. Not without consequences.
In my work with clients I can't avoid it, cause I'm being led by the clients' psyche and spirit.
I've made it my mission to bring it into the practitioner trainings as well, to make sure that more and more of us support people without dismissing, suppressing and invalidating them, but at the same time, not contributing to them being stuck.
