For twenty years, Gail, Jagdish, and Margaret three remarkable personal care workers have walked the same path together side by side, shift after shift at Casey Manor Aged Care.
What began as a simple journey at Medical and Aged Care Group (MACG) has become something deeper, a bond forged in compassion, resilience, and shared purpose. They keep each other steady, always looking for the little moments, and reminding one another why they started.
Gail, Jagdish, and Margaret are proof that compassion, skill, and mutual support compound over time into something rare and powerful.
Their journey shows that care is more than a job it’s a calling, and together it becomes a legacy.

Parkdale Aged Care celebrated the Spring Racing Carnival in style! Cup Sweeps, Oaks Day High Tea and a fabulous Limousine ride around the local community, enjoying the champagne, music and scenic drive together.

Staff and residents at Casey Manor recently came together to celebrate Fiji Day, sharing in the joyful music, dancing, and flavours that made the day so special.

One of our residents said the celebration made them feel right at home, while their family described it as “absolutely beautiful - so authentic and full of life.”

To close the afternoon, resident Charlotte led everyone in the traditional Fijian farewell song, “Isa Lei,” bringing a meaningful end to a day filled with culture and connection.

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the event such a success!

At MACG's Oaklea Hall home, Patricia has reached an incredible 21 years of caring for residents with warmth and dedication. Meanwhile, over at Grand Cedar, Eden is celebrating 8 years and Romina, 5 years of making a difference through their compassion and care.

Their kindness and commitment shine through every day, and we’re so grateful to have them as part of our MACG family.

Earlier this week, we celebrared International Day of Older Persons- honouring the voices, wisdom, and stories of Medical and Aged Care Group's wonderful residents.

At Casey Aged Care, we’re inspired every day by residents like Aileen, who reminds us that new chapters are always waiting to be written.

When Aileen moved into our home, she discovered a new way to reconnect with her lifelong love of creativity joining our art classes. With a paintbrush in hand, she found not just colour on canvas, but happiness, friendship, and a renewed sense of purpose.

Her journey is a beautiful reminder that life in aged care isn’t about slowing down, it’s about discovering new opportunities, passions, and connections.

As we celebrate the International Day of Older Persons, we celebrate Aileen, and every older person who continues to inspire us with resilience, creativity, and heart. 🎨 🖌 ❤️
