I often hear:
“It must be my age.”
Yes, metabolism changes over time. But most 3PM crashes are not simply ageing.
They usually follow unstable blood sugar patterns — especially when meals lack protein and healthy fats.
Carbohydrates alone can raise glucose quickly. Then it drops. That drop feels like fatigue.
If we only blame age, we miss what we can actually change.
Energy stability is often about structure — not getting younger.
