Busy? Travelling? No time to think about food?

This is my go-to quick budget meal that keeps your energy steady without overthinking.

What I used:
• 2 cloves garlic
• 2 eggs
• Cooked brown rice
• Kimchi
• Olive oil
• Seaweed seasoning (optional)

Simple steps:
Sauté garlic in olive oil → add rice and mix → cook eggs (sunny side up) → plate with kimchi → finish with seaweed seasoning.

Why this works (simple nutrition):
Garlic → supports immunity + gut health
Eggs → protein to keep you full + steady energy
Brown rice → slow-release carbs (no big crash later)
Kimchi → probiotics for digestion + gut support
Olive oil → healthy fats to keep you satisfied
Seaweed → minerals like iodine for metabolism (optional boost)

This is what I mean by simple, balanced meals.
No fancy cooking. No strict rules. Just real food that supports your energy.

Save this for your next busy day or travel moment 🤍

Many women tell me that their energy started feeling different in their mid-30s or 40s.

They notice stronger afternoon crashes, slower recovery after poor sleep, or more brain fog during the day.

This isn’t imagined.

Several biological changes can influence energy after 35:

• Gradual decline in muscle mass
• Changes in insulin sensitivity
• Fluctuations in hormones such as oestrogen

These shifts can make blood sugar swings feel stronger, which is why the 3PM crash often becomes more noticeable.

The encouraging part is that meal structure can significantly improve stability.

Understanding the pattern is the first step.

If you feel exhausted and frustrated with yourself, hear this:

You’re not failing.

Many women over 35 are carrying work, family responsibilities, and constant mental load.

When meals become rushed or inconsistent, energy becomes unstable.

Health doesn’t require guilt. It requires structure that fits real life.

27/02/2026

Coffee is often used to manage the 3PM crash.

But caffeine only increases alertness temporarily. It doesn’t correct unstable blood sugar.

If energy feels dependent on caffeine, the real solution may be in breakfast and lunch structure.

25/02/2026

Reducing the 3PM crash often starts at breakfast.

When meals combine protein, fibre, and healthy fats, blood sugar rises more gradually and stays more stable.

Stable blood sugar = steadier energy.

If you’d like a simple framework to try this yourself, my free 3-Day Energy Reset walks through it clearly.

24/02/2026

The afternoon crash isn’t random.

It usually begins earlier in the day.

If breakfast or lunch lacked structure — particularly protein and healthy fats — blood sugar rises quickly and then drops.

That drop is what feels like fatigue, cravings, or irritability.

Understanding the pattern is the first step to stabilising it.

23/02/2026

I often hear:

“It must be my age.”

Yes, metabolism changes over time. But most 3PM crashes are not simply ageing.

They usually follow unstable blood sugar patterns — especially when meals lack protein and healthy fats.

Carbohydrates alone can raise glucose quickly. Then it drops. That drop feels like fatigue.

If we only blame age, we miss what we can actually change.

Energy stability is often about structure — not getting younger.

Nutrition shouldn’t feel like another chore on your to-do list.

I didn’t start Easy Eats Nutrition to be the “food police.”

I started it because I saw how much pressure and confusion was happening around everyday meals — especially for busy women trying to juggle everything.

And in the Deaf community, clear and accessible nutrition support is still rare.

Life is already full.

Food should fuel you.
Not drain you.

I’m here to strip away the “shoulds” and teach simple systems that actually work in real life.

If you’re tired of the noise and just want something sustainable — you’re in the right place.

If packing lunches feels heavier than it should, you’re not alone.

Most of the time, it’s not about knowing what to pack —
it’s about the mental load of thinking about it every single day.

Nutrition doesn’t need to be complicated to work, especially when energy is low and life is full.

A balanced lunch can be built with just three things:
• protein
• carbohydrates
• some colour

That’s it. Simple and realistic.

The invisible part of packing lunches is the hardest part 🧠🥪

It’s not just the bread or the fruit.
It’s the constant mental loop:
• “Did I buy enough snacks?”
• “Is this healthy enough?”
• “Will they actually eat this?”
• “What did I pack yesterday?”

That mental load is called decision fatigue — and it’s exhausting.

When you feel done with lunchboxes, it’s not because you don’t care.
It’s because your brain has made too many decisions on too little energy.

You don’t need more complicated recipes.
You need a simpler system.

I created a free 5-Day Lunch Reset to help clear the mental clutter and make mornings feel calmer đź’›
