Parent support group...dealing with teens. Does your relationship with your child/ren leave you wondering how to feel more in control of your role as caregiver and adult human being with your own needs and wants? Supporting kids through their neurotype, gender or other identity journeys and struggles with anxiety can leave us feeling depleted, but sharing stories and ways of coping can help to replenish those dwindling reserves and build resilience.

And what about relationship therapy…without your partner. What happens when things aren’t going well, but your significant other refuses to seek help? If you’re reaching your limit and feeling stuck, join this group to share your experience with others who understand. Learn tools and strategies to help with communication, reconnecting with your own needs and ways of moving forward - in your relationship and your life.

Get in touch to express interest in joining these online and in-person groups facilitated by an experienced mental health counsellor starting in November 2025 and ongoing into 2026 via DM or opencirclewellbeing@gmail.com. n

What is AuDHD? Many adults that I work with have discovered that they have both autism and ADHD. In the past, they were diagnosed with ADHD, anxiety, depression and/or OCD. And certain traits became more noticeable over time: parents deprived of sleep, women struggling with perimenopausal brain fog, and others experiencing different kinds of stress which made it harder to mask. The feeling of being constantly distracted, side-tracked by sensory issues or finding it more challenging to interact socially.

What can help? Calming techniques can help to reduce stress. But often the most important step is understanding more about how our minds work and ways to build on a multitude of strengths.
