Our Story

Victorian Herbalists Association is the Victorian chapter of the Naturopaths and Herbalist Association of Australia. We are a not for profit and 100% volunteer led organisation that has been consistently running for nearly 30 years. Our organising committee consists of a small group of dedicated Naturopaths, Herbalists and Students. We are committed to bringing an exciting and eclectic lineup of renowned industry pioneers, grassroots herbalists, intrepid researchers, passionate educators and inspiring clinicians to speak and run workshops for our members, students and the general public at our monthly chapter meetings.

Vic Herbs is an excellent place to network with industry professionals, keep abreast of current research, learn new skills, make new friends and catch up with old friends. Our meetings also significantly contribute to ongoing professional development and are recognised for CPE points by all leading associations.

Our meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of each month (except December and January) in the Bargoonga Nganjin Community Room at the North Fitzroy Library. The library is located at 182-186 St Georges Road in Fitzroy North. Admission prices are $5 for students, $10 for NHAA members and $15 for the general public and there is no need to book. Please note we accept cash only. We gather at 7.30pm for a 7.45pm start and usually finish up between 9 and 9.30pm. Please come and join us for a herbal cup of tea and an illuminating night of herbal medicine related information.
