Thank you to all the sacred souls who showed up for themselves last Sunday to sit in ceremony with the medicine doll.

Each doll held her own unique medicine bundle which was thoughtfully chosen by each person. Medicine bundles (embedded in core /body of the doll) included ashes of loved ones, locks of hair of family members, precious gem stones, essential oils, silver, sand from Anaru country & Aotearoa.

The creative process of medicine doll making is hypnotic, calming, meditative and healing.

Intentions held within some of the medicine dolls were:

what if i embraced my magnificence?... Prince calming (calling in future partner)... energetic self, ancestors, new life, honoring of menopause, taking responsibility, claiming back personal power, stepping into my creative self...

It is always a privilege to sit in ceremony and share with wahine the magik alchemy of the medicine doll. I love what I do. I really miss sitting in ceremony with you.
In between lockdowns I had the opportunity to sit one on one with this amazing woman. Working with the Vasalisa Medicine Doll (generational intuition, obtaining the fire of life). Her Doll is Lilypilly and was completed several weeks after our sitting.

P.s shes now got the medicine Doll thang and has been busy ever since creating more exceptional medicine dolls

The maker of this Angelic Medicine Doll holds her own personal story of the bereavement, loss & despair experienced during the intense Lock Down period of 2020. Once the bereavement was acknowledged & honoured through the gentle process of dry felting Doll Making - gentleness, hope, renewed vision and clarity emerged magically. Old stagnant energy was shifted. Tears released. Experience shared which in turn helps others to find meaning of their own story and to grow their courage to shine.
Where there is grief there is also gratitude.

Vessel Studio feeling grateful working with these two creative graphic designers over the past few months... this morning whilst munching on bacon & egg rolls, lemon cake & chai (ty Shine) we edited, tweaked and wrapped up the Maraki - Bereavement Healing brand.

Gunditjmara Country - Warrnambool.
With shifting, with change, with any transition, there is most often uncomfortable experiences. We were and have been challenged extra ordinarily this year. And here we are! Still in our exquisite human lives...living the best way we know how.
Take a moment to accept all that you have experienced this year as the greatest gift of humility.
Each weaving together medicine dolls - being fully present with self and each other. Taking this moment to accept all that we have experienced this year as the greatest gift of humility. Weaving intention of what we wish to focus on moving forward whilst acknowledging our past, present. Our ancestors and Gunditjmara country.
Again - thank you all for the opportunity to share my passion of bringing women together through the beautiful art form of Doll Making. Maraki x
