Mon-Fri up until 11:00pm

Blackburn Clinic After Hours duty doctor service, staffed by our Principal doctors who have access to your records and will contact you promptly. Fees: $180 for telephone advice or $300 for a home visit. Mon-Fri after 11:00pm

Our clinic is an association of independent General Practitioners who consult from two suites within the same building at 195 Whitehorse Road. Patients are welcome to see our GPs at either or both of:

Suite 5—Blackburn Clinic and
Suite 2– Blackburn Specialist Centre. Our services, fees, policies and procedures apply to both suites. Both sites have secure access to our patient clinical data and share the same system for patient appointments. The following GPs consult at Blackburn Specialist Centre:

Dr Terence Ting

Anna is an enthusiastic and passionate GP who returns to Blackburn Clinic in 2026. Anna completed part of her registrar training time with us from Aug 2024 - Feb 2025.
During 2025, Anna did a caravan trip around Australia with her partner, including doing short stints of work in WA, QLD and remote NT.

She is delighted to be back as part of the Blackburn community, providing holistic care for all patients. Anna has particular interests in women's and children's health, skin cancer medicine and chronic disease prevention.

Thank you to all the patients who have generously allowed medical students to 'sit in' on their consultations over the years.
A recent medical student supervised by Dr Alvin Kong gave us a beautiful Thank You card highlighting our commitment to teamwork.

The GPs who supervise medical students are motivated to combat the chronic shortage of GPs in Australia by demonstrating how challenging and rewarding general practice can be, thus enticing students to choose to become a GP rather than any other kind of specialist.
It is also very gratifying that our commitment to teamwork was recognised by Dr Kong's recent medical student.
