I looked at, and reflected on, what actually happened last year.

What worked.
What didn’t.
What I kept repeating.

Ok, so this isn’t about erasing them or pretending it didn’t matter. It’s about stopping the mental loops, calming your nervous system, and getting yourself back.

Five days.
One focus per day.
Practical. Doable. Effective.

DAY 1 – STOP THE SPIN 🧠

Most people think they’re struggling because they don’t have answers. They’re not.

They’re struggling because their nervous system is stuck on high alert.

Today is not about understanding the breakup.
It’s about stopping the spin.

Try this once today when the loop starts.
“I see the story. I don’t have to be in it.”
Then breathe. 4 in. 6 out. Five rounds.

That’s it. Don’t overdo it.

Tomorrow we deal with the thing that keeps pulling you back in.

This year has been big. Messy. Chaotic. Honest.
I let go of what wasn’t good for me.
I learnt to be patient with myself, even though patience has never come naturally.

I lost a great human who was also my dad.
I was grateful and proud to be his daughter.
Even when you see it coming, when it hits, it hits hard.

I learnt to not be afraid to ask questions, no matter the outcome.
To see life as it is, not as I wish it would be.
To connect consciously and meaningfully.

I said yes to things that scared me.
I let go of needing to control everything.
I stayed curious. I paused. I reflected.
I returned to the things that actually keep me grounded.

I paid attention to where my time, energy, effort and money go.

Comfortable is often just familiar.
Growth lives in the unfamiliar.
Friends were strangers once.
Everything begins with a single step.

I look back only to learn and to see how far I’ve come.
Not to ruminate.
We do not live back there.

Here’s to presence. Curiosity. Gratitude. Kindness.
Here’s to being proud of the human I’m becoming.
Life is a series of connections, disconnections and reconnections.

And I’m here for all of it.
