Our Centre is on the ground level of Collins Place in the Professional Suites. Whilst readily accessible the Collins Cosmetic Clinic is discretely located in a professional environment and all consultations are handled with the utmost consideration to privacy. At Collins Cosmetic Clinic we specialise in minimally invasive procedures without hospitalisation, without general anaesthetic, no cutting of the skin and with patients being able to resume normal activity and work immediately after treatment.

You may have seen videos online showing leg veins being injected and disappearing immediately. While this can happen visually during treatment, it doesn’t mean the vein has been permanently removed.

Leg vein injections work by treating the vein so it closes off, allowing the body to slowly break it down and absorb it over time. Because of this process, results are not instant.

It usually takes around 3–4 weeks to determine whether the treated vein has fully cleared or if another treatment session may be required.

When it comes to leg vein treatments, patience is key — and multiple sessions are often needed to achieve the best results.

Over the weekend, Collins Cosmetic Clinic were lucky to attend the Australian Society of Procedural and Cosmetic Dermatologists’ conference .org.au . It was a full weekend of learning from incredible speakers including amazing Dermatologists, Cosmetic Doctors and Cosmetic Nurses from around the world, covering everything from advanced skin treatments to the latest in lasers and injectables.
