✨ Another “Bliss by KB” Workshop completed at the Studio yesterday after the morning classes.

Thank you so much to all of you who attended - there’s been some wonderful feedback so far especially that of one wonderful client who had just recently had some surgery - she said she had the best sleep she’d had in weeks as well as the fact that it brought everything back into balance, post the workshop! 😌🙌

If anyone wants to buy the green massage balls that were used, these are called Franklin Balls & you can find them online.

Having a regulated & calm nervous system is so important. ✨ We appreciate you KB & your expertise!

📌🧘🏻‍♀️🪷 Announcing KB’s second, very successful workshop, “Bliss by KB” as it will be returning in March to the Studio!! Hopefully those of you who wanted to join this but couldn’t last time, will be able to now!

✨ Stretch, Release & Breathwork ✨

Come and join us for a 75 mins of guided series of deep release, stretch and breathwork. A slow and gentle way to recharge, relax and restore your body.

•••What to expect on the day•••
You will be lying on your back for most of the session. Please dress in your active clothing as you will be moving during the trigger points release part of the workshop.
So get ready to feel restored, re-energised and recalibrated! Look forward to seeing you all soon.

Your own mat (optional), a small blanket or a large towel as during breathwork your body temperature may change, bring a water bottle.

✨🌻✨Recently, I had the privilege of giving a talk to these incredibly inspiring people who have Parkinson’s Disease. Thank you to a client of the Studio who began this support group for people with this neurological condition like himself & for inviting me to share some insight into how Pilates will help them.

My own journey of loving & wanting to work with people who have a neurological deficit came from taking my very first client with one, cerebral palsy, back when I worked at The Reformed Body under Karen Jacobs in Mont Albert North. This was around 13 years ago. I had most of my MS, post-stroke clients here & have worked with motor neurone disease clients as well as Parkinson’s since then. These clients make me think outside the box, are such a source of inspiration & I adore helping them to move. As one loved me saying at the meeting: “Movement is Medicine!”

Please check out the poster as this very affordable circuit-like personalised class, “Pilates for Parkinson’s” especially dedicated to those who can’t get NDIS funding to be able to undertake private sessions at the Studio, as it will involve using the pilates apparatus/equipment/machines as well as chairs with seated work.

It will begin this coming Friday 20th February at 2pm. Class will go for an hour & will happen every Friday except on that one Friday a month where their support group meeting will happen - usually the first Friday of the month - so we will move the class to a Saturday at 11:15am instead. ***Please pass on to anyone you may know who is suffering from this condition.***
Just $21 per class (10 participants maximum - carers are extra at no charge) or $185 for a 10 pack/ $340 for a 20 pack.

To note: Photo 4 is of the SPARE GRIPPY SOCKS you can borrow if you forget yours which is easy done in Summer when we live in our thongs (flip flops😜) or slides!

Photo 5: This is the little bowl you put them in before you leave the studio as I’ll wash them at the end of the week.

Photo 6: PLEASE DO NOT put any grippy mat onto the ballet barres as this is what it’s doing to them & it’s almost impossible to get off! No one is to know hence why I’m putting it out there as a reminder for those of us too, who do.

We are now officially closed for the year & I haven’t stopped - what a beyond busy time it has been, but I want to reiterate how appreciative I am of all of you on-Core enthusiasts/our dedicated incredible clients, for supporting my boutique studio for another year! We wouldn’t be able to run without you & you make coming to work so enjoyable. 🙏🫶
A big shout out to my instructors/employees as well - I’m so glad you all thoroughly enjoyed the cooking class with for your Christmas Thank you Party this year & it was so wonderful to follow this with a Thank you Christmas Afternoon Tea for our clients with you all too - I think my surprise for Alicia was ruined haha but she still loved seeing those of you who could make it & I gave her the big card from those of you who wrote in it. All the very best to Greg for everything! He will still be around, just not doing his permanent Monday shift next year - you will be missed! 🥺😔 Also, a special client who has moved to QLD - you will be missed as well but we wish you all the very best with this transition - an exciting one at that! 👏
