Fatima recently asked what was stopping me from being more personally visible in our content.

We must have the deep, dark, and sometimes painful conversations…. the ones that bring our challenges to light. To share the load, learn from one another, and inspire others to do the same.

So here’s part of mine.

Eight months of hyperemesis gravidarum.
Eighteen weeks in hospital.
And a healthy baby girl, born by C-section.

With so many things out of my control, getting to choose her birthday felt like a welcome gift.

Real fertility stories include the parts we don’t plan for... loss, hospitalisation, and the long, complicated road to healing.
