Here at Alive, we are a proud affiliate and host site with National Pilates Training. Not only do we host a yearly intake of students to complete their teacher training in both Matwork and Reformer, but we also provide students with work placement opportunities to complete their hours.

This provides NPT students with a rich experience in both learning and practical application within a real-life studio environment, an experience that is invaluable when aiming to step into the Pilates industry.

HOLIDAY SCHEDULE 😎🎄🎆 Like the past 2 years, we are excited to offer a handful of classes over the Christmas and New Year period as we wrap up 2025 and head into 2026.

Please note the following for this time:

👉🏼 A reduced schedule of 3-6 classes per day will run from Monday December 22nd 2025 until Sunday January 11th 2026 (inclusive).

👉🏼 The only business closure dates will be the public holidays (Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day)

👉🏼 Our regular schedule will run up until the Sunday December 21st (inclusive) and recommence on Monday January 12th.

If you are heading away within this time and would like to suspend your membership, please note the following:

👉🏼 Suspension has to be a minimum of 2 weeks, maximum of 6.

👉🏼 You must notify us at hello@alivepilatesstudio.com.au prior to Monday December 22nd of your wish to suspend.

👉🏼Admin will be taking a brief break from 22/12 until 5/01, so any suspension requests will not be considered within this time.

👉🏼 Class packs cannot be extended for holiday breaks.

The reduced schedule of classes is now live on the Alive/MindBody app. Bookings will be open for this period 30 days prior.

We look forward to continuing to provide you with a range of Reformer, Barre, Yoga & Mat classes throughout your Summer season!

These past two years have been years of consolidation, creativity, and clarity— understanding what makes us us and learning how to make our space work harder (and smarter) for our vision, with so much purpose behind every decision.

It has been so fun to recap our history with you all as we come up to . We hope you enjoyed learning a little more about how we started, where we have come from and how the studio has continued to adapt and evolve over time.

Running a small business is hard work, but oh so rewarding and to look back at our journey fills us with immense pride.

Our Member of the Month for October is Annabie! 🎉

We love our community members who work hard on their progressions, and Annabie makes a conscious effort to get to Reformer, Mat and Barre classes - applying her learnings from each class to the next.
Annabie has been working to push herself by taking the extra progressions and layers offered in each class, and it shows!
She is also a fantastic member of the Alive community who attends our events and pop ups and is always making an effort to chat to fellow members and make connections.

After two years of lockdowns, 2022 and 2023 became our “let’s try everything” era 😅 From new classes to fresh ideas, it was about finding our place in the Pilates world again. We even gave the studio a new name that felt more us and more in tune with our vision for the future ✨

Reflecting on the lockdown years still brings up so many emotions. Trying to keep Alive afloat through 2020 and 2021 was one of the hardest chapters — full of uncertainty, tears, and a whole lot of determination.

But from those challenges came something great. As the everything opened back up, so did new opportunities — including an incredible partnership that breathed new life into the studio and marked a fresh beginning for our studio. ✨
