Hypnosis is a deeply relaxed state wherein a person is able to achieve a keen focus that they would be unable to achieve in a conscious state. In this keenly focused state they are able to respond to suggestions made by the Therapist, which relate to what they want to change or achieve. So how does Hypnosis help? Someone comes to the Hypnotherapist to make change. They want to quit smoking, lose weight, stop biting their nails, bed-wetting, phobias, depression, insomnia, anxiety, addictions or stress reduction. Based on what the client wants to change the Hypnotherapist can assist them to achieve a deep state of focused attention and using suggestion can assist the client to use the resources they have to make change. Because your unconscious mind is always learning.

It’s such a simple word.
And yet it holds the power to change everything.
Because when you pause.
you interrupt the rush,
you soften the noise,
