At our September event, we were joined by Helen — 75 years young and absolutely glowing after the Mat Pilates class! ✨

Her favourite part? “I absolutely loved it, and could not fault it… just loved it, especially the waffles!” 💪

Our events are designed for all women, all abilities, and all stages of life. Of the 35 women at the event, I personally only knew half of them! I didnt know their exercise background, injuries or anything else. Just their names.

The class was tailored and I created it with as many progressions and regressions as possible to challenge every individual at their own exercise level. Want to be apart of it?

Story time 📖

I wanted to keep the hype about the re-brand and thought it would be cool to run an event, especially given that Women’s Health Week was just around the corner. Why not celebrate women & my business?

In less than 3 weeks, I hustled.
Organised merch, contacted suppliers and women owned businesses that would be willing to put into the goodie bags.

In one week, it sold out. We had a waitlist!

And on the day — it was everything I’d hoped for and more. Im still so grateful for how it all went and everything that came along to support not only myself but also the business.

Out of 35 women, I only knew half of them! That’s pretty cool in my opinion! 🥹

Something I’d tell myself five years ago as a new mum…

You’re in the middle of lockdowns, juggling feeds between online lectures and hours of clinical placement and internships, wondering how you’ll ever finish your Master’s of Osteopathy and still be the mum, partner, and provider your little family needs.

I’d tell you — it does work out. The exhaustion and the uncertainty, they become the foundation of something strong, grounded, and full of meaning. They become your thriving business.

One day you’ll be sitting in a primary school information night for that same tiny baby you once held for every sleep — and you’ll realise that somehow, through all the chaos, you built something beautiful.

It all effort was worth it in the end.
You did it.

“Oh you’re 6 weeks? Yes, you can go back to exercise!”
We’ve all heard it —

But the truth is… that check-up isn’t enough to determine if your body is truly ready to move again, like you used to.

Most GP checks don’t include:
✨ Pelvic floor assessment
✨ Evaluation of Abdominal separation
✨ Discussion around prolapse, urinary incontinence or constipation
✨ Discussion around pain, pressure, or leaking
✨ Or how you’re actually coping — physically and emotionally

Often it’s a “hello, Hows baby?
Here’s your contraception…. “😒

Without a deeper understanding, returning to movement too early can impact healing, increase risk of injury, and lead to long-term pelvic floor dysfunction. But waiting too long to reintroduce gentle, guided movement can also be detrimental — missing the window where your body is most responsive to rebuilding connection, stability, and strength.

The first 12 weeks postpartum are a powerful time for restoration — a chance to reconnect your breath, deep core, and pelvic floor as one integrated system.

So here’s the truth — that brief appointment isn’t nearly enough to determine if your body is ready to return to exercise. Postpartum healing deserves more than a tick on a form.
