Mindfull Aus purpose is to encourage those in high risk areas of Australia to put wellness back in their own hands so they get back to living and leading healthy, happy and fulfilling lives- just as they deserve! Mindfull aus was founded on the premise of taking a youthful, realistic and comfortable approach to talking about mind and behavioural health and suicide prevention. With facilitations from compassionate, lived experience advocates and trained professional with inspiring journeys that both replicate wellness and a life of hope, healing and recovery we're able to establish a connection that provides people with the courage to take acceptance and onus for their wellbeing.

Merry Christmas from all of us at Mindfull Aus 💚

As the year winds down and the noise quietens a little, we just want to say a heartfelt thank you to our incredible community.

This year has been full of conversations, courage, growth and moments that mattered. None of it happens in isolation. It happens because people show up, back the work and believe that looking after minds, hearts and people is worth investing in.

To those who support us, donate, attend, share our messages, open your doors and trust us with your communities, thank you. You genuinely keep this charity alive, moving and growing.

A huge thank you to the organisations who continue to stand beside us and back the delivery of evidence based education and wellbeing programs.

Your support directly fuels our impact and allows us to reach people who might otherwise miss out.
And a special mention to Pressroom Philanthropy. Thank you for backing our branding, marketing and advertising, and for helping us build stronger resources throughout 2025 for school programs. Your belief in our mission has helped us show up better, clearer and louder where it matters most.

To everyone in our Mindfull Aus family, we see you, we appreciate you and we are grateful for you.

Wishing you a safe, restful and connected Christmas, and we cannot wait to continue the work together in the year ahead 💚.

p.s We will have news in early 2026 that changes the trajectory of how we operate and dates for our 2026 Charity Gala Ball. Stay Tuned!!

🎉 That is a wrap on another incredible school year

What a year for our Healthier Hearts and Lighter Minds crew. Our very first year on the Victorian Governments Evidence Based and Evaluated Mental Health Menu. A huge step, a proud moment, and a big win for early intervention and meaningful wellbeing education across our state.

This year we were able to show up for more young people than ever. That is thanks to the support of our amazing partners AGL Loy Yang, Windfarms, and Hydro. Your backing has opened doors into schools that may not have had funding or access. You did not just sponsor a program, you sponsored connection, confidence and growth in communities that deserved it.

💬 What students told us they loved most

Three hundred and thirty students from our intervention group told us exactly what landed for them this year. Their top four themes say it all.

🌱 Program content that felt real and relatable.
🎲 Interactive activities that made learning hands on and fun.
🎤 Program delivery that was inclusive, energetic and supportive.
💚 Our Mindfull Aus team described as kind, approachable and inspiring.

This is the stuff that truly matters. When young people feel safe, seen and involved, they learn in ways that last.

📈 And the data backs it. Students who completed all three surveys showed positive growth across the board.

🟢 19.6% improvement in finding the words to describe their emotions
🟢 12.3% improvement in having techniques to manage anger
🟢 11.8% improvement in feeling comfortable asking for help
🟢 10.6% improvement in recognising strategies to manage emotional distress

These outcomes are not quick wins. They show sustained emotional growth and healthier behaviours over a long period of time. That is what real prevention looks like. That is what happens when communities work together.

So to every school, teacher, student, parent, partner and champion of this movement & our incredible facilitation team, Thank you.

We are proud to stand with you and we cannot wait to build, grow and support even more hearts and minds in the coming year.

Last school run for 2025 and wow… the country kids never miss!

Big thanks to AGL Hydro & Windfarms for helping us deliver our evidence-based wellbeing program to the amazing students at:
Mitta Mitta, Eskdale, Upper Sandy Creek, Bethanga, Talgarno & Walwa.

Small schools, big hearts, lighter minds. 💚🌾✨

"We highly recommend the Mindfull Aus program to other schools seeking to strengthen their wellbeing curriculum and provide students with meaningful tools to navigate challenges both in and out of the classroom. The program is professional, impactful, and aligned with best-practice mental health education.
Thank you for the valuable contribution Mindfull Aus makes to supporting young people and school communities." -
Michael McBrien (Principal Mitta Mitta P.S)

Our first Building Wellbeing training kicked off on Friday and it could not have launched in a better way. The people’s favourite, Mick, guided our community through a session that focused on supporting others and supporting self, while giving everyone the chance to build confidence, language and real world skills for those tough moments.

One of the most powerful parts of this training is the practical exercise where participants contact local services to test how responsive, helpful and accessible they really are. It matters that our community knows where to turn and what they can expect, and the insights gained from this activity always spark important learning that stays with people long after they leave the room.

The group was engaged, open and willing to grow, and the impact speaks for itself.

A quick snapshot from the evaluation.
- ✅One hundred percent of participants reported improved knowledge or skills, with most rating the improvement as eight, nine or ten out of ten.
- ✅Comfort in asking someone about su***de shifted from mostly low or moderate to more than half now feeling very comfortable.
- ✅Familiarity with how to help someone access services increased significantly, with almost everyone now feeling moderately or very familiar.
- ✅Confidence in applying what they learned landed strongly at the higher end of the scale, with the majority rating themselves eight, nine or ten.

A huge thank you to Ally, Brad and the Blue Bern Foundation for making community accessible and affordable training possible.

The ripple effect is real and the learning is already making a difference.

PAINT THE TOWN GREEN – WRAPPED! 💚✨

A huge thank you to every single person who showed up with courage, curiosity and a proactive mindset on Friday Night. We know Mindfull Aus delivers things in our own unique way… but with 10 years of evidence behind us, we stand proudly in the impact that our conversations create.

These events put us in our feels and help us to reflect—and that’s not only valid, it’s appreciated and needed. Your willingness to lean in is what makes the room so powerful. And when an event of 60+ people, has 100% of attendees recommend the event and rate it 5/5, that tells us everything we need to know.

Emotion and feelings are not there to be suppressed, but to be expressed and navigated. Our community created a safe space for all of it, the tears and the plethora of laughs!

Reading through the feedback, one phrase kept showing up again and again:
“Real world insights and tangible skills.”
That’s the mission. Always has been. Arming our community with tools they can actually use to live, lead and thrive.

To our community—your presence speaks volumes. The quality of people who continue to show up, engage, share and support is the reason we get to do this meaningful work. We’re grateful, always, and we hope to keep creating events that make a genuine difference.

A massive thank you to the Baw Baw Big Blokes BBQ for their generous backing. Their support allows us to bring education and connection to the region in ways that truly matter.

Congratulations to Hayley Marsh, winner of the $1095 Verve Photography Package! 📸✨

And a special shout-out to our newest members of the Mindfull Aus Movement—absolute legends who signed up on the night to support and continue this mission:
