What an incredible event! The Zone Throwdown was a huge success, with an amazing atmosphere and outstanding performances across the board. Many athletes hit personal bests, and the teamwork and community spirit on display were next level. A massive thank you to everyone who participated, supported, and helped make it happen — from setup to judging to cheering on the floor.

🔥 What’s Coming Up This Week at The Zone! 🔥

Get ready, team - our In-House Fitness Event is happening THIS Saturday!

If you’re not competing, we’d still love for you to come down, cheer on your teammates, and watch them slog it out through 3 epic workouts!

We’ll be firing up the BBQ afterwards for a community catch-up, everyone is welcome to hang out, celebrate, and enjoy the vibes. 🌭🔥

👉 We’re also on the lookout for judges and volunteers to help run the day - if you’re keen, let us know!

Here's the third workout for our partner comp the 25th of October.

Event 3 "Sync or Sink"
2 rounds For Time + a plus buy-out
• 20 synchronized DB snatches
• 20 barbell thrusters, shared
• 20 synchronized DB lunges
• 20 single-arm DB squat cleans, shared
• 20 barbell push press, shared
Buy-out:
• 10 synchronized bar-facing burpees over bar
Time cap: 13 minutes
Score: Time to complete the workout.

Here's the second workout for our Partner comp the 25th October.

Event 2 "CARDIO HARDIO" has two parts.
Part A:
A You-go, I-go EMOM for 6 rounds — 3 each.
• Athlete 1 completes 8 parallel burpees over bar, then goes for max calories on the Echo Bike.
• Athlete 2 holds a goblet squat until the minute ends.
• Switch every minute.

You’ll then have a 1-minute rest and transition.

Part B:
Same format — You-go, I-go EMOM for 6 rounds.
• This time, it’s 6 burpee box jumps into max calories on the SkiErg.
• Resting partner holds a dumbbell front rack.
Score is the total combined calories accumulated across both parts.
