Lovely Tarot Tree friends. The card for the week is the out in the cold 5 of Pentacles.

The 5 of Pentacles represents a period of spiritual desolation, loss of faith, or feeling abandoned by the Divine. The image of two figures walking through the cold outside a lit church window speaks powerfully to the experience of believing you are shut out from grace, even when spiritual support is close at hand.

Hello lovely Tarot Tree friends. This week’s card is the feeling betrayed, 10 of Swords.

Yes, the image in the 10 of Swords looks brutal—but notice this: the figure is already down. The worst has already happened. There’s nothing left to fight, nothing left to lose. And that’s the gift.

A painful chapter is completely over. Not “maybe ending,” not “dragging on”—done. Because it’s so total, there’s no going back to what hurt you. When you’ve hit the bottom, the only direction left is up. This card often appears right before a breakthrough or mental reset. Look closely: the sky is lightening at the horizon. Pain peaked before the card appeared. Healing has already begun, even if you’re not fully feeling it yet.
