Formerly Home Instead, Dovida provides high-quality, person-centred home care to the Melbourne Inner East community. Dovida creates a Circle of Care that places individuals at the centre of a holistic support system, uniting families, our skilled caregivers, our support teams, and the wider healthcare community. We provide a range of services including everyday companionship, domestic assistance, personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transport to appointments, shopping and social outings. Care is available up to 24hrs a day and ranges from light housekeeping to dementia care and palliative care.

Meet Valmai - our January calendar star! 🌟​

At 86, Valmai has been bringing her community together for 70 years as a CWA member, hosting morning teas, packing care bags for domestic violence survivors, and baking up a storm.​

Despite gradually losing her central vision over 30 years, Valmai still cooks from memory and feel (with a little help from her Dovida carers Judy and Donna).​

Her famous Ginger Spice Slice opens our 2026 calendar.
