We recently partnered with United Physio Group to host a practical PD session focused on safe handling, transfers, and equipment application in real care settings.

It was a hands-on session where therapists had the opportunity to explore and trial a range of equipment including:

• Hospital beds

• Slide sheets

• Standing aids (Sara Stedy & Standing Machine)

• Hoists & slings

• Wheeled shower commode

• Manual wheelchair

• Electric recliner chairs

• Princess chair

Creating space for open discussion, clinical reasoning, and real-life transfer techniques is something we value deeply.

Sometimes it’s not just about supplying equipment, it’s about giving someone confidence and comfort.

Margaret visited our showroom recently to trial a recliner chair. She was understandably nervous and hesitant to even sit in one. Taking that first step can feel overwhelming.

Our Head of Sales took the time to gently guide her through a few options, making the experience relaxed, pressure-free, and comfortable. After carefully trialling several chairs, Margaret found the one that felt just right, the K Care Donatello Recliner.

Knowing she urgently needed the chair, our Head of Sales personally delivered it to her home to ensure she could start using it straight away.

Moments like this remind us why we do what we do. It’s not just about chairs It’s about independence, dignity, and making everyday life a little easier.
