This goes for both women and men. I've been there and I'm sure you have too.

Although your mind ticks over thinking about your responsibilities and all the things you have to do, at times you need to shift it to the back of your mind.

This does not mean you ignore it, but rather just focus on today.

Whether you're stressed to the max, have emotional or relationship issues, mental and/or physical illness and restrictions that are overwhelming, all can be debilitating. So, focus on what you CAN do.

Focusing on the present day may be all that you can do. Doing the bare minimum may be all that you have the energy for. And that's ok. Just keep pushing one day at a time.

And remind yourself to release emotions, in whatever way feels right for you. Anger, hurt, frustration, overwhelm and helplessness, just to name a few, can all hinder and make your days even heavier than what they already may be.

Emotions get trapped and releasing them removes tension from your physical body and helps clear blocks from your mind and energy, allowing better flow overall.

Many times 'keeping it together' requires messy emotional moments or days. And that, although it may not seem like it, gives you the necessary release to face the next day.

Your spirit is stronger than you can ever imagine.

So if this is you right now...
Just one day at a time...
You've got this. 🩷

For four years I had my own column in a spiritual (not religious) magazine. I used to write my articles on a computer until one day I just had the inspiration to write them on paper.

Whilst I can edit, add, rearrange and move whole paragraphs at the click of a button on the computer, on paper I cannot!

It is more time consuming and messy at times. With words, sentences or whole paragraphs crossed out. And usually notes, thoughts and arrows written in between lines and in the margins.

Sometimes it's fairly straight forward, other times chaos! Lol

But there is always intrigue and satisfaction in seeing it all layed out on paper and at how my brain processes it all. How it all begins with a blank page and takes formation to get to the final draft.

For me, it is a beautifully deep, connecting experience, right through to the formation of the letters, and at times being a very cathartic experience.

I'll be sharing some of those articles on my website and some new ones too.

I wanted to share some background and insight to you, of my process and experience whilst writing on different topics. Topics which were written to assist you to gain understanding on how to self assess, heal, and empower yourself and your life.

The first one I shared had to do with shedding our false layers. It was in alignment with the year of the Snake, which coincidently finishes today. Tomorrow we begin the year of the Fire Horse.

The Chinese Zodiac shows that on February 17th, 2026 we enter the year of the Fire Horse. It is associated  with energy, independence and ambition and is characterized by freedom, action and individual drive. The Fire element adds passion and vitality.

Many of you may already be feeling the shift in energy and springing into action.

Don't despair if you haven't, as we are still in the year of the Wood Snake, which is a year of completion, transformation and renewal. The Wood element brings growth, flexibility and resilience.

This has also been intensified by the fact that it is intertwined with the number 9 in the Universal 9 Year Cycle in numerology.

The number 9 signifies endings, culmination and spiritual growth and is a time to release old patterns, relationships, or habits that no longer serve you.

This aligns perfectly with the snakes theme of shedding, and with shedding comes rebirth and personal evolution.

It has been an intense year for many, both physically and emotionally. The good news is it has all been to prepare you for new beginnings in February 2026.

So in these last couple weeks take the opportunity to let go of whatever is left to shed both physically, emotionally, and in your environment.

Yeah, I'm 10 days late.

I chose to start off my social media year on my own clock. With no need to keep up with algorithms and time and date stamps. Also, according to some cultures, I'm not late at all and actually early. 🙃

May you all have a year full of love, health, joy, adventures, growth, and connection. May you be more present in your life, sit with gratitude daily and be showered with an abundance of blessings.
