Lilydale Bmx Wednesday Gates/Clubbies:

All welcome - 6:00pm-7:30pm

Every Wednesday we all get together at the track for practice.

The start gates will be operational and timing systems are on. The canteen is also open for food, drinks and snacks to keep riders (and spectators) fuelled! All riders and abilities are welcome and there are always people available to help newcomers. Periodically we run clubby races instead of gates, these are great fun for all abilities and a great introduction to higher level racing without the pressure. Coaching Time table:

5 - 6pm Beginner/Intermediate $15pp
6.10 - 7.10pm Advanced $15pp

8.30 – 9am Mini Wheelers (Balance bike) Free
9.00 – 9.45am Ages 10+ Beginner/Novice $10pp
10.00 – 10.45am Ages 9- Beginner/Novice $10pp
11.00 – 11.45am Older Teen/Adults all abilities $10pp
*Emerald Blyth
11 – 11.45am Girls only, all ages & abilities $10pp

Coaching details will be posted weekly in our 'What's on' post. Track Safety and Etiquette:

*When the track is in official use (i.e. Gates, Coaching, Clubbies or Opens) it is considered HOT. There is to be no persons on the track other than Officials’ or First aid.

*If you have a fallen rider, please refrain from entering the track until directed by an official. More accidents can be caused by running in front of other riders.

*Please do not allow children to run across the track, the bottom of the start hill or play at the top of berms.

*All BMX tracks are alcohol and smoke free.

*Dogs are not permitted during official times.

*BMX is a family friendly sport and inappropriate behaviour, fighting or abuse will not be tolerated.

🌱 Lilydale Lynx BMX Club – Snap Working Bee! 🌱

We’re holding a quick working bee tomorrow, Sunday 15th November, and we’d love your help!

We’ll be focusing on:

Weeding

Whipper snippering

Mowing

If you can bring a whipper snipper, brush cutter, or mower, that would be amazing.

🕘 Kick-off: 9:00am

We’re hoping the weather holds out, but we’ll still go ahead even if it doesn’t. Any help is greatly appreciated to keep our track and surrounds looking awesome!

🙁GATES CANCELLED TONIGHT
Afternoon everyone. Unfortunately our track has sustained significant damage from the heavy rainfall lately. The track is down to its base in places with deep ruts across it caused by flowing water.
The club will organise a working bee to repair the track really soon so let us know if you can spare some time to fix our track and grounds!

The weather is perfect for gates at Lilydale Bmx tonight! Can you believe it?
