Following a similar recent alert from CanTEST regarding a sample that was acquired in Sydney, our team has detected he**in in a sample that was expected to be ketamine. This is particularly dangerous, because people who are expecting ketamine may not have any tolerance to opioids.

Using he**in unexpectedly can lead to life-threatening overdose, especially if combined with other depressants like alcohol, benzodiazepines, ketamine or GHB.

🚨 Know the signs of he**in overdose and always carry naloxone – even if you don’t plan to take opioids.

⚠️ ⚠️ Ketamine Analogues are being MIS-sold as ketamine ⚠️ ⚠️

These analogues may look like K, but their effects can vary greatly to those of K!
Potency and duration are the 2 biggest differences.
Some lasting 3-6 HOURS opposed to K's 30-60 MINUTES!
Users have described the experience as more disorientating or distressing than ketamine. Hallucinations, confusion, seizures, memory loss, euphoria, stimulation are common with psychosis being the most common toxic effect seen in the emergency rooms.

Recent test results where ketamine was expected, found a range of analogues instead. 2-OXO-PCE or 2F-NENDCK (CanKet) or tiltamine (polarbear ket) were detected instead.

The biggest risk is that these analogues are more potent and last a lot longer than the real ket. This puts you at risk of overdose or toxicity.

REDUCING POSSIBLE HARM:
☝️Avoid mixing with alcohol ,other stimulants or other depressants. ✌️Test your drugs at a drug checking service.
🤟Start low. Go slow.
✌️✌️ Avoid using alone.
Call 000 if you feel any adverse effects when taking drugs.
