Iron supports energy, focus, growth and immunity! If you feel like your child is tired, often rundown, restless at night, or even a picky eater, these may be signs of iron deficiency.

And did you know that, after 6 months, babies' iron needs increase dramatically?

Easy wins: mini meatballs, baked beans, paired with vitamin C (berries/kiwi/capsicum/oranges) to boost absorption.

Tip: keep big dairy serves ~1 hour away from iron meals. If your child has strong texture preferences or a limited menu and you’re concerned about deficiency, please seek advice/testing before supplements as some forms can cause tummy upset or constipation. Save this guide and tag a parent who’d find it helpful.

High stress really compromises your thyroid function, even if your labs look “normal.” 😮‍💨

Your body starts converting more T4 into Reverse T3, the inactive form that blocks T3 receptors.

This means less active thyroid hormone gets through, leading to signs and symptoms of an underactive thyroid.

Chronic stress, high cortisol, and inflammation all drive this shift.

✨ Supporting your stress response is just as important as supporting your thyroid.

Relying on TSH alone doesn’t tell the full story of your thyroid health.

TSH is just the signal from your brain, not the hormone actually doing the work.

To truly understand how your thyroid is functioning, you need to look deeper at free T4, free T3, and reverse T3.

These markers reveal whether you’re converting hormones properly or if there’s cellular resistance slowing things down.

Just because you’re taking levothyroxine doesn’t mean your thyroid function is optimal. 💊

Levothyroxine gives your body T4, but it needs to be converted to active T3.

That conversion happens mostly in the liver and gut, and depends on key nutrients like selenium and zinc.

If you’re stressed, inflamed, or have poor gut health, that process can slow down leaving you with signs and symptoms of an underactive thyroid even while medicated.

Your v*ginal microbiome is powerful!
When your flora are balanced and thriving, they help regulate pH, protect sp*rm on their journey, and support healthy implantation.

It’s one of the most overlooked pieces of the fertility puzzle, and one of the most empowering once you understand it 💫

I see many women in clinic who are doing everything right,  balancing their hormones, eating well, correcting nutrient deficiencies…

But they’re still experiencing recurrent vaginal infections or finding it hard to fall pregnant.

What’s often missing from the conversation is the vaginal microbiome! The community of microbes that protect against infection, support healthy cervical mucus, and create the right environment for conception and implantation.

When this ecosystem is out of balance, it can quietly affect fertility and pregnancy outcomes even when everything else looks “perfect” on paper.
