Thyroid hormones regulate lipid metabolism.

As many of you know, I’m about to embark on my Master’s studies this year! 🤓

Because of this, my capacity is currently limited and I’m not taking on new clients so I can continue to give my existing clients the time, depth, and care they deserve. ❤️

The good news is Peak Naturopathy is still welcoming new clients with our incredible practitioners! ✨

👩 Jess () — online consultations Australia-wide + in-person in Gympie on alternating Thursdays
👩‍🦰 Petra () — in-person in Melton on Mondays + online consultations Australia-wide

Both practitioners work closely within the Peak Naturopathy approach, so you’re still fully supported.

⚠️ Bookings are available via the link in bio! If you’re unsure who’s best for you, feel free to reach out.

Protein needs increase as baby’s growth ramps up in third trimester 🤍

But realistically, the low energy, and nesting vibes that 3rd trimester brings can make it hard to keep up!

These are some easy protein boosters that work even when you’re not super hungry:
🥣 egg whites in oats
🍫 collagen hot choc
🍝 lentil pasta
🍮 protein mousse
🍯 protein balls
🧀 cottage cheese
Aim for steady protein across the day rather than one huge hit at dinner ✅

Always check with your care provider for personalised pregnancy advice.

NETTLE IN PREGNANCY = my favourite underrated herb for this lifestage 🌿🤍

It’s one I prescribe all the time because it’s such a gentle way to support nutrients + hydration in pregnancy.

✨ Why I love it:
✅ naturally mineral-rich
✅ supports iron + energy foundations
✅ great as a cold infusion tea (especially when you cant stand hot drinks!)
✅ pregnancy-friendly for so many women

Always check with your care provider before adding in herbs especially if you have any other medical conditions or you’re unsure what’s right for you.

35+ weeks or pregnancy: birth preparation

• Partus preparator herbs
• Nettle &/or raspberry leaf tea
• Perineal massage
• Daily jaw relaxation + horsey-lips breathing
(jaw–pelvic floor connection)
• Swimming (avoid backstroke) to support optimal foetal positioning
• Acupuncture for nervous system regulation

Plus: prioritise protein intake, sleep, rest, and clear boundaries to support late-pregnancy demands.

⚠️ In your 3rd trimester? Book in a consultation with Jess to support the rest of your pregnancy and postpartum journey!

Thyroid hormones drive muscular metabolism and recovery. 😌

Support them for better training adaptation and building bigger muscles. 💪

Protein contains tyrosine, an amino acids needed for thyroid hormone production.

Prioritising your protein intake can help to boost thyroid hormone production and support your metabolism! 🥩
