Communications Assistant
Casual | 15 hours per week | Helensvale | Monday–Friday

We are seeking a confident and capable Communications Assistant to take ownership of our communications both in and out of our organisation. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can operate with initiative, professionalism and sound judgement.

The Role:
You will be responsible for presenting our organisation to the community across multiple communication channels, ensuring consistency, clarity and professionalism in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and grow our social media presence
• Plan, create and schedule content using Meta Business Suite
• Assist in developing and managing email marketing campaigns, sequences and automation
• Build and optimise advertising funnels and landing pages
• Support advertising campaigns and brand initiatives
• Manage inbound and outbound customer communication via phone and email
• Coordinate bookings and adjust or generate invoices where required
• Ensure all communication is inclusive, respectful and appropriate for a diverse community, including people with disability

What We’re Looking For:
• Minimum 12 months customer service experience
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt communication style to suit a diverse client base
• Experience using Meta Business Suite
• Proven experience with email marketing platforms and campaign automation
• Confidence creating reels, identifying trends and planning content in advance
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with leadership
• Flexibility and room to increase hours with the business as we expand
• A team member who is willing to become part of our community, shares our values and is able to be committed to the role long term.
This role requires professionalism, empathy and sound judgement. Experience within the disability or community services sector is highly regarded but not essential.
