I believe through education & knowledge, self awareness, and understanding the power of mindset, everybody can live a happy healthy life.
There is a direct correlation between the mind and the gut. The gastrointestinal tract is sensitive to emotion. Anger, anxiety, sadness — all of these feelings (and others) can trigger symptoms in the gut. The brain has a direct effect on the stomach. Therefore, a person's stomach or intestinal distress can be the cause or the product of anxiety, stress, or depression.
If you’re not feeling like yourself, talk to someone, it's ok not to be ok, it's not weak to seek help. It takes courage. I know first hand having lost my dad to su***de when I was 18 and also having experienced anxiety and depression myself in the past that you really have to learn how to control your mindset. I’ve learnt how to change my state in a second, if I feel myself getting lost, sad or anxious. I now have strategies to recognise and overcome the negative thoughts/feelings. I no longer turn to food for comfort, a quick fix and self sabotage myself or my goals.
