The Meredith History Interest Group brought around 450 treasured images from the Elaine district to life in a joyous two‑day exhibition at Elaine Hall in November.

Our support helped the group:
✅ Collect, copy, print and safely store important local photos
✅ Mount and display images in A3 & A4 formats with captions
✅ Hire stands, halls, fuel volunteers, advertise and share stories

Attendees connected over snapshots of life, heritage and friendships from school days and threshing teams to long‑lost football rivalries now laid to rest.

One visitor summed it up perfectly, “At last the Elaine/Meredith rivalry was forgotten.” 😂

It was a weekend full of memories and community spirit and there’s even a book in the works to launch in November 2026!
