For many older Australians and people living with health needs, everyday support in the kitchen can help prevent malnutrition, reduce risk, and maintain routine and dignity.

A small check-in can mean more than you realise.

It doesn’t have to be a big conversation.

Sometimes it’s just:
A quick call.
A cup of tea together.
A simple “How are you going, really?”

For many older loved ones, that small moment of connection can make a big difference — especially if they’re quietly managing more than they say.

Today’s reminder: reach out. 💛

Terracotta Warriors Exhibit!

To wrap up January the Right at Home Midland team was accompanied by a group of our history loving clients to take a walk through one of the biggest marvels in Chinese history.

Everyone met at the Epoch café for some morning tea before heading into WA Museum and embarking on a journey together through the unification of China by their first emperor and the story of the Qin Dynasty.

If your interested in the outings and activities we host as part of our Social Program - message us directly for more information, or contact us on 08 6146 0085.

We will continue striving to live our mission to "Improve the Quality of Life for those we Serve".

If you’ve been referred for an allied health assessment at home, it’s natural to wonder what will actually happen.

Will it feel formal?
Is it a test?
Will changes be forced?

The answer is no.

An allied health assessment is simply a conversation and observation — designed to understand how you’re managing at home and what might help you stay safe, confident and independent.

We explain exactly what to expect in our latest blog.

Sometimes it’s not one big moment that raises concern — it’s a series of small ones.

A phone call that feels a little different.
A task they used to manage easily.
A quiet thought you keep coming back to.

Do they need more support at home?

In our latest blog, we explore why this question is so common for families, why it’s hard to voice, and how thinking things through early can make future decisions feel calmer and more informed.

When someone you love needs support at home, it shouldn’t feel like you’re managing everything on your own.

A coordinated care team means the people supporting your loved one are working together — sharing information, aligning goals, and adapting support as needs change.

Our latest blog explains why a team-based approach makes such a difference under Support at Home, and how it helps reduce stress for families and carers.

💙 Clear. Connected. Support that makes sense.
