Don't care if you like him or not, this is practical - not political.

Many clients know about this payment from the previous period, however this one is open to all Victorians as of today. Make use of it and feel free to share this with clients and your networks. Use the link below only and of course be aware of scams that will naturally come out for this.

Today is World Social Work Day and I totally forgot about it during my two classes for my Masters in Social Work. Tuesdays are always busy, but it's great to get back into the classroom - it's always a good reminder of the theory behind the work, it's limitations and to keep being open to new things. While the theme is "Leaving No One Behind", I can safely say my studying is already behind.

World Social Work Day 2022The next World Social Work Day takes place on the 15th March 2022. The theme: ´Co-building a New Eco-Social World: Leaving No One Behind´ coincides with the theme of the people´s summit that will take place on the 29th June to the 2nd July. The theme presents a vision and...

I'm glad to say I'm back at work and have tried really hard to catch up on the Christmas backlog that snowballed as I recovered. It was a hard slog with the lingering fatigue and I once again have nothing but appreciation for clients who were so understanding and supportive. It came at an awful time, as Christmas + covid has been very difficult for a lot of people.
My goal this year is to complete my NDIS registration as well as my Masters in Social Work, both of which will lead to bigger and better things at Mallee Minds.

I ended up with covid and have completed isolating. I'm slowly getting back to work, but am taking some precautions as well as dealing with some chronic fatigue. I'm contacting clients via phone this week and I've been grateful for the kind words, concern and support. It's been very tough on all of us, especially the kids.

So after just beginning to get going for the new year, I have a covid positive case in my household so I'm quarantining for seven days. I will try to keep regular appointments via phone, however I'll also be battling on the home front too. The shortage of RATs and the blowout times for test results are another issue, too. Thank you in advance for understanding.

I'm not symptomatic, however I've contacted people whom had recent contact with me to monitor their health as a precaution. It's difficult to identify an exposure time or location, so I emplore everyone to do what they can to minimise the chances of catching it.
