Currently, I work as a Wound, Ostomy & Continence Clinical Nurse Consultant, serving the Mallee region and providing Telehealth services. Beyond nursing, I’m a devoted dog lover—my other true passion. I have two wonderful dogs, Toby and Lenny, who bring me endless joy. I also have a soft spot for strong coffee, sweets, and ice cream. When it’s time to unwind, you’ll find me relaxing by the beach, my favorite getaway.

Hi Mildura! I’m Emily Mudge, a Registered Nurse with over 10 years of experience, and I’m passionate about supporting rural communities—something I know firsthand, having grown up in a small country town.

I recently moved here to provide Stomal Therapy, Wound Care, Continence Support in collaboration with your GP, Aged Care and NDIS provider. I offer home visits and clinic consultations, making healthcare accessible, comfortable, and personalised.

In between these services, I also work as a nursing teaching and hospital nurse, bringing both experience and practical knowledge to every patient I see.

Funding options: Aged Care / NDIS / Self-funded

⚠️ These services are not Medicare-rebated.

Don't reside in the Mildura region? Telehealth options are always available where applicable or Pop-up clinics in surrounding towns can be arranged.

If you or your clinic could benefit from specialist support, or you’re a local looking for care in your home, give me a call 💛

This might come as a surprise to some…
But as someone with years of experience in wound care, I see it all the time — the difference early intervention makes.

From a clinician’s perspective, it’s clear that seeking specialised support early can change the entire healing journey. But for many patients, that knowledge just isn’t there. They might not realise that timely advice and a tailored wound care plan can significantly reduce healing time, prevent complications, and ease both the health and financial burden.

Don’t wait. If you or someone you know is dealing with a wound — reach out. Early care matters. 💛

Never - too - young.

Yes that’s right. Bowel cancer is becoming increasingly more prevalent in the younger ages. Yes, that’s right - that means we all need to be more vigilant.

Did you know Australia has one of the highest rates of bowel cancer in the world? 🌍

Being proactive and seeking further investigations early - yes this is what we all should be doing if things don’t seem “right” within ourselves.

Not sure where to go or who to ask? Give us a call if you ever to chat. If we can help, we most definitely will. If we can’t, we will ensure we guide you to the appropriate health professional who can!

We are all in this together. Take care of you and those around you.

June is Bowel Cancer Awareness Month.

Did you know? Bowel cancer is the second deadliest cancer in Australia, taking the lives of 101 people every week.

The good news? When detected early, bowel cancer is one of the most treatable cancers.

However, cancer treatments can still affect the nerves and muscles that control your bladder and bowel, leading to ongoing incontinence challenges including:
➡️ Urgency (rushing to the toilet)
➡️ Leaking wee or poo
➡️ Difficulty fully emptying

Early support from continence health professionals can help manage symptoms, empowering you to regain control with practical, expert advice.

But here's the good news: incontinence is often treatable, manageable or even curable with the right support.

This World Continence Week, let’s shine a light on incontinence, help more people take that first step by sharing facts and encouraging open conversations 🧡
