Proudly introducing Ontario Family Practice’s newest GP, Dr Brent Venning.
Brent is a rurally trained GP who has worked across regional Victoria and NSW. In addition to his medical degree and Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, he holds a Master of Public Health, an Advanced Certificate in General Dermatology, and recently completed his PhD through the University of Melbourne on cancer diagnosis in general practice. He continues to be active in this area of research and has contributed to several national committees focused on cancer detection and primary care.
Brent’s clinical interests include general dermatological conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, and hair and nail disorders, as well as mental health, cancer screening and survivorship, palliative care, and the management of chronic conditions including hypertension, diabetes and heart failure.
