In Australia, there are just over 900 cases of cervical cancer diagnosed annually, with the risk of women being diagnosed by age 85 years at 1 in 62.

Clinpath Pathology offers cervical screening tests for women aged 25-75 years old in order to detect high risk types necessary for the progression of a HPV infection to cervical cancer.

Testing has become more convenient and comfortable with self-collect cervical screenings offered to all eligible screeners.

Pathology is the most hidden speciality in the medical industry, yet it is vital for diagnosis, monitoring of disease, guiding treatment and preventative health.

Did you know?
- 100% of cancers are diagnosed by pathology
- About 70% of medical decisions require pathology results
- 1 in 3 problems seen by a GP require a pathology test
- 1 in 2 Australians have a pathology test every year.

To keep up with demand, Clinpath Pathology ensure a reliable pathology service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to support the urgent and routine requirements of our referring doctors and private hospitals.

On International Pathology Day, we acknowledge the amazing work of all our staff here at Clinpath. Thank you!

Movember has tackled issues around men’s mental health, suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer since 2003.

Each November, we are encouraged to start a conversation around these issues and men are encouraged to show their support by growing a moustache.

At Clinpath Pathology, our staff will be holding fundraisers to donate towards the cause, and a few of our male staff members will even go into a moustache growing competition!

Each day, 9 people lose their life to breast cancer in Australia.
