JOB OPPORTUNITY (extended) - Payroll and Accounts Administrator
We are seeking a well-organized and motivated ‘Accounts, Payroll and Administration Officer’, to manage a variety of finance, administration and payroll tasks, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Your main responsibilities will include (but is not limited to)
• Accounts payable: collating and processing tax Invoices, ensuring compliance with ordering and payment policies.
• Resident billing and accounts receivable
• Processing receipts and banking
• Assisting with payroll processing for 190+ employees
• Bank reconciliation
• Maintaining information systems
• General Administration
Desired skills and experience
• Previous experience in a similar Administration role will be highly regarded.
• Formal qualifications such as a Certificate or Diploma in Business or Accounts Administration.
• Strong data entry skills, with attention to detail and time management required for monthly reporting deadlines.
• Confident with Microsoft Office, especially excel and word.
• Knowledge and experience with double-entry accounting and accruals.
• Experience in using an accounting program such as Xero, MYOB, Quickbooks, etc.
• Payroll processing experience
• Basic understanding of the National Employment Standards and relevant industrial awards, particularly the Nursing and Aged Care award will be well regarded.
• Ability to interact and communicate positively and respectfully with aged residents.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and enthusiastic team player
