Dry Needling might sound intimidating, but it’s actually a simple, effective way to relieve deep muscle tightness.

Here’s what happens during a session:
1️⃣ Your physiotherapist identifies “trigger points”, those tight, knotted spots that cause pain or stiffness.
2️⃣ A very fine, sterile needle is gently inserted into that muscle (no medication, no injections, just your body’s natural healing).
3️⃣ You might feel a small twitch or mild ache, that’s the muscle releasing tension.

Have you noticed when you are stressed, or have a deadline, how your shoulders go up, and you almost stop breathing? The more this happens, the tighter your diaphragm gets.

The diaphragm muscle is a dome-shaped muscle that attaches to the inner surface of your lower ribs and the spine. It is your main breathing muscle. If it gets tight, through not breathing properly…it can result in back pain.
