Today we recognise World KC Day, an awareness initiative by the National Keratoconus Foundation (NKCF) dedicated to supporting and advocating for those living with keratoconus.

Keratoconus is a progressive condition that causes the cornea to thin and change shape, leading to distorted or blurred vision. At The Optical Nook, we’re proud to offer advanced care and expertise in complex custom hard contact lens fitting for keratoconus, using cutting-edge technology to achieve the best vision and comfort possible. We often work collaboratively with local Brisbane optometrists and ophthalmologists to design personalised lens solutions for patients with keratoconus to improve our patients’ quality of life.
