Our expert Women's Health nurse Susan Wilford has been across the South East of NSW providing health professional events, community events, and high school visits. So far over 4000 people who have received free comprehensive education about pelvic pain, sexual health, endometriosis and more. Susan (as well as some local GPs) have travelled to schools in Wollongong, Nowra, Moruya, Batemans Bay, Bega and Ulladulla, and also community groups such as the CWA and View clubs. Thanks Susan and the SENSW Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain Clinic team for equipping people with knowledge about what is healthy, what is normal and where and when to seek help if required.

Milton Medical Centre is a teaching and training hub for the University of Wollongong, Illawarra and Shoalhaven Local Health District, Royal Australian College of General Practice (RACGP) and the Australian College of Remote and Rural Medicine (ACRRM). Between these four practising doctors all of the listed training pathways are represented.

Cass is currently undertaking further postgraduate studies in rural and remote medicine, as well as reproductive and sexual health. Her professional interests include women’s health, infectious diseases, travel medicine, and emergency medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys hiking, swimming, travelling, and exploring the outdoors. Welcome Cass.

Introducing Milton Medical Centre's New PDT Service for Sun-Damaged Skin and low risk Skin Cancer.

We’re excited to announce the launch of Photodynamic Therapy (PDT) with the Allied BiotechKN-7000 at our MMC Skin Cancer Clinic — a safe, effective and non-invasive treatment for actinic keratoses (sunspots) and low grade skin cancers.

What is PDT?
PDT uses a special light-activated cream (5-ALA) applied to the skin, followed by red light
treatment to selectively target sun-damaged cells, leaving healthy tissue intact.

Why your doctor may recommend PDT:
- No cutting or stitching
- Minimal down time compared to creams such as 5-fluorouracil (Efudix)
- Quick, in-clinic procedure
- Proven results backed by clinical research
- Excellent cosmetic outcomes

To learn more, consult with your doctor at your next skin check to see if PDT is right for you. Phone 4455 5755 to make an appointment.
