👃💉 New Needle-Free Flu Vaccine Option for Children

We’re pleased to offer FluMist® – the intranasal (nose spray) flu vaccine as a new option for children this flu season.

FluMist is a needle-free influenza vaccine given as a quick spray into the nose, helping make flu vaccination easier for children who may be anxious about needles. It has been used safely overseas for many years and provides protection comparable to traditional flu vaccines.

Who can receive FluMist?

✔ Free in NSW for children aged 2yrs and under 5 years as part of the NSW Intranasal Influenza Vaccination Program.

Who is eligible for a free vaccine?

⭐️Children aged 6 months to under 5yrs
⭐️Pregnant women
⭐️Aboriginal or Torres Straight Islander ⭐️people aged 6 months and over
⭐️People aged over 65 years
⭐️Those over 6 months with certain medical conditions (please ask your doctor)
