🎄🎅🏼 Merry Christmas from the Minto MyTime group 🎄🎅🏼

Recently, our Minto MyTime support group came together to celebrate the end of another fantastic year, sharing delicious food, plenty of laughter, and great company.

We’d love to take this opportunity to sincerely thank our wonderful members for showing up each week, supporting one another through life’s challenges, and celebrating every win together. Your kindness and commitment help create a safe, welcoming space where everyone feels valued and free from judgment.

We also wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a safe, happy, and relaxing New Year.

We look forward to seeing you again when we return on February 11th at 10:00am at our Minto office! 🎉✨

🎄 It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas 🎄

Last week was full of Christmas magic at Camden Playgroup. The kids enjoyed decorating their own Christmas tree ornaments with stickers, glitter, and lots of sparkle. 🎉✨

We also loved snuggling up for story time with a super fun Christmas pop-up book!

Everyone’s already excited for more Christmas crafts, festive songs, and celebrations this week for our very last playgroup of the year! ✨🎅🎁

✨ Empowering Families to understand the latest NDIS changes ✨

Earlier this month, Jay, one of our dedicated Support Coordinators from Disability Macarthur, delivered an informative and engaging presentation at our Minto MyTime Support Group, unpacking the latest NDIS updates. The session was incredibly valuable and warmly received by our members. 💛

Staying up to date with these changes is essential for families. It helps parents and carers understand what supports are available, how to access them, and how any updates might affect their current plans. Having Jay share his knowledge ensures our members receive clear, practical guidance from someone who works closely with families every day.

✨ A Magical Week at Playgroup ✨

At playgroup, it’s not just about crafts; our circle time is where the magic happens!

This week, the room was filled with music, movement, and the happiest little voices as the children sang and danced to the Hokey Pokey. There were wiggly arms, giggly legs, and so many bright smiles. It’s amazing to see how music and movement spark confidence, coordination, and joyful connection. 💛

Our Book of the Week was the timeless favourite Where is Spot? The children were completely captivated, guessing where Spot might be hiding and eagerly lifting each flap to find out. Their curiosity and excitement made story time truly special.

Circle time remains the heart of our sessions. Singing, dancing, storytelling, and shared moments make playgroup an experience full of warmth, learning, and laughter.

With just 4 weeks left before we wrap up for the term, we’d love to welcome all families to come along and join the fun. There’s still plenty of joy to share! 💛

Celebrating Diversity and Connection at MyTime Minto! 🌈

Last week, our MyTime Minto group came together to celebrate the wonderful diversity within our community!

Members shared delicious dishes from their cultures and enjoyed learning about each other’s traditions, a beautiful reminder of the strength that comes from connection and understanding.

MyTime is an inclusive and welcoming space for parents and carers of children with disabilities and complex medical conditions. It’s a place to relax, share experiences, enjoy great food, and access helpful information and self-care activities. 💛

We would love for you to join us on Tuesdays from 10am to 12pm at Currans Hill Community Hall.

💛 Fun, Friends & Fuzzy Moustaches at Camden Playgroup! 💛

We had such fun at our Camden Playgroup, celebrating Movember with lots of colour and creativity! 🥸✨

The kids had a blast designing their own moustaches using sparkly paper, stickers, glue pens and textas, then showing them off to their friends and family. 💫

During circle time, one of our little book lovers chose this week’s story: Find Spot at the Library! 📚 We finished the morning with a delicious fruit salad full of watermelon, mandarins, strawberries, bananas and apples. 🍉🍌🍓

Our Minto Playgroup is open and ready to welcome new families.

Our playgroups are free, fun and the perfect place for parents, carers and toddlers to connect, play and learn together. Everyone’s welcome and we'd love you to join us! 💕
